Physical Therapist

Dr. Marcus Taylor has a long history of working with high-performing athletes. While studying for his Masters in Biomedical Sciences and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees at Duke University, he worked with the Duke Football Team as an assistant athletic trainer and became involved with community and university-based advocacy.

His time at Duke was just the beginning of his commitment to supporting athletes. Marcus has a strong interest in sports performance, return to sport progression, and post-operative care. He strives to meet clients where they are in order to foster a relationship of trust throughout the injury prevention and rehabilitation processes.

Outside of the clinic, he is involved in the American Physical Therapy Association as a member of the National Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and a Teaching Assistant for the Duke University Physical Therapy program. Marcus completed his undergrad at Norfolk State University with a major in biology and minor in chemistry.
