JANAYE DZIKEWICH (She/her)
AAHFRPMedical Exercise Specialist
Janaye has over 15 years of coaching experience, and is skilled in working with chronic musculoskeletal disorders, female injury prevention, and exercise programming for the aging athlete. Her focus on Post Rehab and Medical Exercise Training stems from her own time as a collegiate athlete who sustained injuries while captaining her Division 1 Lacrosse team at the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. Her own rehab journey was where she saw the crucial need for more sustainable exercise programming following medical care.
Janaye moved to Washington DC in 2014 specifically to build her identity as a Medical Exercise Specialist, with the goal of integrating health and fitness with an individualized approach so that each and every client can stay in motion.
In 2023, Janaye founded F.I.R.S.T Post Rehab, an organization whose vision aligns with and compliments that of The PHYT Collective, where both believe that the collaboration of functional physical therapy with integrative fitness training fills a huge void in our health care continuum.
Beyond medical exercise, Janaye played in two World Cups, representing her home country on the Canadian National Lacrosse Team.
